Four Brothers of Kappa Delta Phi National Fraternity, Lambda Chapter at Husson College

took part in performing the play Alice in Wonderlan at Husson College April 25,26,and 27.

The play was a success and ticket sales packed the house.

All of the money we raised went to the Bangor YWCA as scholorships for children for summer camp at the YMCA. The Husson College Circle Performers were able to raise over $700 and the brothers from Lambda chapter who were in the play had a great time performing community service. Brother not in the play were in attendance to support their thespian brothers and contribute to donations.

Congratulations to the Liz Jason Hartford, a alumna sister of Kappa Iota, and Steven Hartford, an Alumnus Brother of Kappa Delta Phi, Lambda Chapter at Husson college on their blessed event.

Early news in on two of chapters. Lambda Colony and Chi Chapter have won their
campus Greek Ggames.

Congratulations to Chi Chapter of Kappa Delta Phi at Southern New Hampshire
College and Lambda Colony of Kappa Delta Phi at Husson College.

Lambda Colony is one of specail note, after being inactive for nearly five
years, and being reactivated by alumni, the newly active Brothers of Lambda
Colony won Greek Games at Husson College and was named Fraternity Champion of
2007.

Please join us in congratulating the brothers and sisters of Kappa Delta Phi and Kappa Delta Phi National Affiliated Sorority in yet another successful year. Convention 2007 was record setting, with almost 400 attendees. After our two separate business meetings, the brothers and sisters came together for a joint award luncheon with keynote speaker Michael Avis of Omicron chapter. As Vice President of J.P. Morgan, Brother Avis credits his years with Kappa Delta Phi for instilling within him the leadership and character he has used to succeed.

The Brothers of Lambda Colony of Kappa Delta Phi National Fraternity at Husson College and the sisters of Kappa Alpha Iota Colony of Kappa Delta Phi National Affiliated Sorority at Shippensburg University.

Both Colonies will be representing their groups in full numbers at the 2007 annual convention in Springfield, Ma on April 13th and 14th.

The Brothers at Husson College (named after the family of a founding father of Lambda Chapter) have achieved Colony status.

Though the hard work of Bangor Maine area alumni, Lambda Chapter Alumni, a trasfer from Nu chapter; Matt Pirie and 11 dedicated Active Brothers of Kappa Delta Phi the formerly inactive Lambda chapter at Husson college has come back and is now Lambda Colony.

Lambda Colony of Kappa Delta Phi at Husson College is proud to serve their community. On February 9th the brothers of Lambda Colony visited the children’s wing of Eastern Maine Medical Center. They enjoyed spending time playing with the terminally ill children and making them smile. They also painted the windows of the wing to bring a little personality to the hospital and to brighten everyone’s day.
