On April 30th at the University of Maine at Orono, two teams composed of Kappa Delta Phi Fratneity, Alpha Alpha Chapter Brothers competed in the Tippman ROTC Paintball Tournament. Against 18 other teams, including one team containing another brother, the two teams were able to place 15th (Black Team) and 4th (Gold Team). The winning team, Super Squad, contained Mu Alum and Alpha Alpha Active Ryan Barnes, who's jersey never saw a drop of paint until the Alpha Alpha men smashed some on it after he took first place.

Over all the Kappa boys outlasted all competition, of the 3 teams finishing ahead of Gold Team two contained former and current Semi-Professional players and the third was a military ensemble from the Army ROTC. One player on Gold Team had never fired a Paint Ball Gun before in his life, proving again that when called upon to step up and meet a challenge, Kappa Delta Phi prevails.
