Deadline extended!
That's right, the deadline to reserve your seat at the banquet honoring Brother Ed Webber's 50 years of service to Kappa Delta Phi has been extended.
Quite frankly, the overwhelming positive response we got when we first announced this has not been matched by actual participation. Granted, the ticket price is steep, but this is not a money-maker. We believe this to be a momentous occasion, and have planned a first-class event to honor the man who has given so much for so long.
The event will take place, regardless of attendance, but we wish to honor Ed in the manner in which he deserves, and we need all of you to accomplish this.
Therefore, Iota Alumni Association President Mark Tschamler has authorized an extension of the deadline through Monday, May 14th. Furthermore, if you know you will be attending, but cannot get a check out to us by the new deadline, just let us know.
By e-mail (chops@midcoast.com) , pm Chops on KT,
We will reserve you a spot and hold your ticket for purchase at the door.
Please specify your preference of Filet Mignon, or an alternate chicken dish.
Also, speakers are welcome. If you'd like to share a story about Ed, or offer congratulations, let me know and we'll try to fit you into the agenda.
The Holiday Inn West is offering a discount room rate of $79.00 that night, but you must make your reservation by April 19th.
