Main issues with AOL

While AOL users can user this site please note the following two MAJOR issues.

1) DO NOT register for this site using an AOL.COM e-mail address. I recommend using another ISPs e-mail address. aol.com e-mail addresses are not allowed register on this site. If you attempt to register with an AOL.com address you will be told that your e-mail account is banned.

If you are a current member with an aol.com e-mail address listed as you contact address, please change it ASAP.

2) Attention: AOL USERS with sign on issues to the Kappa Talk forums.

     It has come to my attention that some AOL users are not able to sign onto the bulletin board. I have checked the known issues regarding this problem and it is noted that users of AOL will receive and error stating "You are not logged in or you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:" after they have correctly logged into the bulletin board. This is an error on AOL's browser reading cookies.

     There is a work around for this! Open an Internet explorer widow either by accessing the program from the desktop icon by the start menu. Enter www.kappatalk.com in the address bar and access the website and the bulletin board in that Internet Explorer window instead of in AOL. This will resolve this problem.
